About the American Production and Inventory Control Society, North Central Ohio

The American Production and Inventory Control Society, North Central Ohio's mission has been to provide to the local community qaulity programs and meetings with a focus on supply chain content.The Organization dedicated itself to enhancing individual & organizational success by inspiring lifelong learning. 

Established as the American Production and Inventory Control Society, North Central Ohio in 1978 as a Corporation for Non-Profit in the State of Ohio, the Organization has served the area for over 40 years as a Channel Partner of ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management), formerly APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society). As of December 31, 2020 the American Production and Inventory Control Society, North Central Ohio will cease to be affiliated with ASCM per an organizational decision made by the Association.

Over the course of the first quarter of 2021, the American Production and Inventory Control Society, North Central Ohio will be legally dissolved and it's professional developement mission will be rolled up into RMC (Regional Manufacturing Coalition)

Through RMC the region can expect profesional develope activities to continue through

  • Coordination of on-site training for organizations interested in educating a group of employees.

  • Seminars and workshops specific to the needs of organizations in the local area

  • Plant tours that provide insight into organizational principles and practices

  • Workshops and meetings with allied organizations that enable members to network with professional peers.

  • Professional development meetings that foster local networking and career development..
